Our guiding Spirit

The Jewel of Africa | جوهرة أفريقيا

Lumoràwé, pronounced /luːˈmɔː.ra.weɪ/, is more than a name, it is a soulful-infusion of languages, cultures, and dreams that symbolizes light, life, peace, prosperity, and nobility.

It blends Latin (Lumen), Arabic (Noor), Yoruba (Ola), Hausa (Rai), Igbo (Udo), Zulu (Khanya), Swahili (Maisha), French (Rêve), and English (More) to evoke a radiant African dream—rooted in noble heritage and global aspiration.

Lumoràwé is a visionary urban infrastructure development initiative positioned to become Africa’s premier carbon-neutral, net-zero smart city, located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) of Abuja, Nigeria.

This landmark project represents a rare convergence of environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and cultural heritage.

Lumoràwé is designed to serve as a model for future African cities, offering a resilient infrastructure, clean energy systems, and intelligent urban planning that aligns with global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) benchmarks.

Vision & Impact

Lumoràwé is not just a city — it is a symbol of Africa’s emergence as a leader in sustainable urban innovation. The project aims to catalyse regional development, attract global partnerships, and redefine the narrative of African excellence.
